A growing area of his practice involves advising businesses that are building or integrating emerging technologies — such as artificial intelligence, digital assets, Internet of Things (IoT) and wearable tech — into their operations. He supports both pioneering start-ups and scale-ups as well as established organisations seeking to procure or embed these technologies to enhance performance, efficiency and engagement.
In the sports sector, Morgan is a trusted adviser to stakeholders across the ecosystem, including professional clubs, governing bodies and technology providers. He handles a wide range of commercial contract matters, including sponsorship, licensing and procurement agreements. His deep understanding of how technology can drive elite performance and fan engagement makes him a go-to adviser for sports organisations navigating digital transformation.
Before joining Brabners, Morgan worked at a boutique sports law practice advising English and overseas football clubs, sports agencies and high-profile athletes. He also spent time at a specialist technology law firm, advising fast-growth tech businesses on commercial and data matters. This dual experience gives Morgan a unique perspective across both the sports and technology industries, allowing him to deliver commercially attuned advice tailored to each client’s needs.
