Andrew Bradley and Megan Colvin from our expert corporate team have advised the shareholders of Rural Solutions on its acquisition by Celnor Group, an investor in entrepreneur-led businesses across the testing, inspection, certification and compliance (TICC) sector.
The transaction sees Rural Solutions join Celnor’s Built Environment Division, enhancing the group’s expertise in rural planning, design and development.
Headquartered in Skipton, Rural Solutions is a multi-disciplinary consultancy providing planning, architecture, landscape and advisory services to support high-quality rural development. With a national team of around 40 professionals, the firm works with estates, landowners, developers and leisure operators to unlock the potential of rural land and property.
William Fry, Managing Director of Rural Solutions, said: “Joining the Celnor Group is an exciting step for Rural Solutions. As a business dedicated to shaping the future of rural land and property, we see strong alignment with Celnor’s values and vision.”
Simon Parrington, CEO and founder of Celnor, added: “I’m pleased to welcome Rural Solutions to the Celnor Group … With their national reputation, creative approach and strong focus on rural communities, Rural Solutions complements our collective ambition to support clients in navigating their compliance and regulatory challenges across the built environment life cycle.”
Our corporate team is recognised by Experian as one of the UK’s most active deal makers, ranked ‘Top Tier’ by The Legal 500 and commended in The Times Best Law Firms 2026 list.
Building on this reputation, the team has earned further industry recognition — winning Corporate Law Firm of the Year at the Insider North West Dealmakers Awards 2025 and being shortlisted for the Health Investor Awards, North West Rainmaker Awards and Yorkshire Legal Awards.
