Alicia is a Senior Associate in our employment team.
She advises employers on a wide range of matters, including disciplinary and grievance issues, performance and absence management, discrimination, whistleblowing, senior exits, redundancy exercises, TUPE and employment tribunal litigation.
She works with clients ranging from SMEs to large corporates, including recruitment businesses, schools and organisations in the financial and professional services sectors. Having qualified in 2018, Alicia has specialised in employment law throughout her career. She's always been drawn to this area because it's fundamentally about people, helping employers to navigate workplace challenges while balancing legal, practical and personal considerations.
Alicia combines practical employment law advice with extensive training experience. Before joining us, she trained at an international law firm and later worked at a specialist employment law firm, where she progressed to Head of Training. She's particularly skilled at explaining complex legal issues in a clear, accessible way, helping managers and HR teams to put advice into practice with confidence. Her approach focuses on delivering pragmatic solutions while recognising the human aspects of workplace challenges.
Alicia has delivered training on topics including sexual harassment, diversity, equality and inclusion, neurodiversity and effective people management. She has a particular interest in psychological safety and supporting inclusive workplace cultures — particularly within regulated environments.
She has also spoken at a range of conferences and industry events, including ACAS conferences, MAD World, the Leeds Mind Conference, the Mindful Employer Conference, Women in Policing and events hosted by the Independent Office for Police Conduct. These opportunities have allowed her to share practical insights with HR professionals, business leaders and public sector organisations on some of the most challenging workplace issues facing employers today.
Outside of work, Alicia is an enthusiastic runner with ambitions to complete the London Marathon. She also enjoys Formula 1, tennis, athletics and the Olympics. Before qualifying as a solicitor, she worked as a musical theatre singing teacher and is now kept busy by her two young children.
She joined us in August 2026 and is based in our Leeds office.
