Making Places Work — new study reveals the most improved places in the North of England

Our award-winning regeneration team has launched a new report that uncovers how life and work across the North of England has changed since the millennium.
We make the difference. Talk to us: 0333 004 4488 | hello@brabners.com
We're officially the Best Law Firm to Work For in the UK — according to the latest Best Companies league tables.
That's not all — we also came in at #11 in the Best Large Companies to Work For list for 2023.
Best Companies shared that 95% of our people agreed that they feel proud to work for us, with 88% saying that people in their team go out of their way to help them.
A massive 98% of our people stated that we encourage charitable activities — something we are incredibly proud of.
"Last year, The Brabners Foundation made 17 charitable grants totalling almost £49,500. They went to organisations including the Beacon Beacon Counselling Trust, to fund specialist counselling sessions, Place2Be, to fund counselling sessions for 31 children and young people, and The Girls' Network, to cover the cost of mentoring young girls to develop self-worth."
Our CEO Robert White and Managing Partner Nik White attended the Best Companies awards ceremony alongside several of our exceptional colleagues who were nominated for their fantastic colleague engagement efforts this year.
A huge congratulations to Matthew Evans, Beth Henshall, David Lees, Beth Mclean, Kathryn McManus, Louise Morris, Adam Murphy and Michael Winder.
We’re immensely proud of these achievements and the workplace that all our colleagues collectively create.
In our write-up, Best Companies states that:
"'Stand together' is one of the core values of leading independent law firm Brabners, which aims to create a strong feeling of family among its staff.
This togetherness is encouraged through various initiatives, including a virtual staff lounge, where colleagues can connect and hold social events...
...Equality, diversity and inclusion is woven into the culture at the firm, through its well-established affinity groups, made up of staff from all areas of the business and at all levels.
Brabners is committed to ensuring fair access to legal careers for everyone, and supports The Sutton Trust's Pathways to Law programme, which offers opportunities for those from less advantaged backgrounds."
We'd like to say a huge thank you to Best Companies and congratulations to all the other award winners from the night.
We’ll see you all again next year...
