Tony is a Solicitor in our construction team.
He specialises in advising on the full range of issues that arise in construction disputes including delay, defects, cost overruns, variations, compensation events and termination. His work spans the construction, infrastructure and energy sectors and he’s experienced with both standard form contracts such as NEC and FIDIC and bespoke arrangements.
He advises a broad mix of clients across the construction industry, from domestic and international contractors to multinational oil companies, state‑owned employers and family‑owned conglomerates. Since qualifying as a lawyer in 2022, he’s worked on disputes connected to oil and gas projects in Australia and South America, major commercial developments in the Middle East and significant public infrastructure schemes in the UK.
Tony’s international background sets him apart. He’s handled complex disputes of all sizes across multiple jurisdictions and has used a wide range of dispute resolution forums including litigation, international arbitration, adjudication, DABs and mediation. His experience working closely with quantum and delay experts and counsel across the UK, Middle East and Asia‑Pacific has shaped a resilient, relationship‑driven and highly adaptable approach.
Before joining us, Tony worked at a variety of law firms and arbitration institutions in the UK, UAE and South Korea including magic circle, US and international firms. He previously studied an LLM in international arbitration and an LLB at Queen Mary University of London and is dually admitted as an England & Wales solicitor and a New York attorney.
Outside of work, Tony enjoys travelling and creating short cinematic films of his trips. He also spends his time running, rock climbing and keeping up his gym training.
He is based in our Manchester office.
