Stuart is a Partner and experienced corporate lawyer who advises a wide range of businesses, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals on structuring investments, demergers and the return of capital to shareholder structures.
He also has expertise in employee ownership trusts and works as part of our specialist team that’s recognised by the Employee Ownership Association.
As a Director at Brentford FC and Chair at Bees United (the Brentford Supporters Trust), Stuart is embedded within the world of football and a key member of our multi-award-winning sport sector team. He’s a key advisor to sports club owners and sportspeople, including on investments, M&A and shareholder agreements as well as the acquisition, financing and structuring of clubs.
Stuart is recognised as a ‘Top Recommended Corporate Lawyer’ in the Spear’s 500, which states that he’s “well known for his work with international start-ups, scale-ups and fast-growth companies, including family-owned and entrepreneur-led businesses” as well as his “hands-on approach, network of contacts and personal touch”.
Outside of work, Stuart is a devoted runner who competes in everything from park runs to ultra-marathons.
Stuart joined us from a London-based law firm in January 2026. He previously worked for PwC.
