Simon is an experienced employment lawyer who handles director/senior management disputes, exit strategies and settlement agreements, employment contracts and service agreements.
He also advises on redundancies and reorganisations, TUPE, outsourcing, employment tribunal claims, data protection issues, complex discrimination cases, post termination obligations, IR35 and status generally, as well as National Minimum Wage investigations.
He supports national and international recruitment businesses dealing with regulatory issues such as the Agency Workers Regulations, the Conduct Regulations, the GLAA and the issues arising from the Good Work Plan.
He also advises on general recruitment issues arising from using and supplying temporary workers, contractors and the gig economy generally.
Simon has significant experience of supporting employers and recruiters of all sizes. He founded the specialist employment and recruitment law firm HRC Law which merged with us in 2019. Recognised as a 'Recommended Lawyer' by The Legal 500, he has been praised as a 'workforce solutions expert'.
He regularly presents on recruitment and employment related issues at industry events and manages our relationships with TEAM, FCSA, Powerhive and APSCO.
Simon is heavily involved in the arts sector as Chair of M6 Theatre and a Trustee of Oldham Coliseum Theatre.
