Sarah leads our Lancashire private client team.
An experienced private client lawyer, she helps people to handle confidential matters and prepare for the future — regularly advising on matters like Wills, estates, inheritance tax and succession planning, estate administration (probate) and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Sarah also advises on issues relating to the provision of care for elderly and vulnerable people and is often approached by organisations and other professionals to provide advice to vulnerable clients and their families.
Recognised as a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ by The Legal 500 for private client work, Sarah's advice is strategic and holistic and her delivery is focused on providing clarity to clients.
She has a strong background in non-contentious work and has done much work on promoting and developing solicitors working in this field as the former Chair of the Law Society’s Private Client Section Advisory Committee.
Sarah is a full professional accredited member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers (formerly Solicitors for the Elderly) and the elected Regional Director for the North-West for the organisation.
She's also a long-serving Trustee and Chair of Animal Care (Lancaster and Morecambe) as well as a past President of the Lancaster branch of Soroptimist International.
Sarah joined us in 2018.
