Richard is a Partner in our corporate team.
Richard is a specialist transactional banking and finance lawyer who prepares and negotiates facility agreements, security and guarantee documentation, and intercreditor deeds.
He acts for a wide range of lenders (including clearing banks, challenger banks and alternative debt providers and debt funds), corporate borrowers and institutional investors in financing most aspects of corporate lending transactions. He has particular expertise in acting on leveraged and structured finance transactions (including MBOs, MBI's and IBO's), as well as real estate investment and development finance. Richard also has considerable experience of handling general corporate banking matters.
Over the past 15 years, Richard has acted for many of the largest corporates in the North West of England, as well as for growth businesses requiring advice and assistance with their financing requirements. He also regularly works on matters which have an international dimension and prior to joining us he worked for an international law firm.
