Melissa is a Trust Manager in our private client team.
She’s an experienced Trust Adviser with over five years of experience in trust planning and compliance. She works with a wide range of clients, including individuals and families with complex wealth structures, business owners with companies held in trust and landowners managing agricultural property.
Her practice covers discretionary trusts, qualifying interest in possession trusts, charitable trusts and bespoke arrangements with a focus on trustee responsibilities, tax compliance and trust accounting.
Originally from Canada, Melissa spent time living in South Korea and Hong Kong before settling in the UK where she studied Law, completed the Legal Practice Course and achieved the STEP qualification.
She’s known for her clear and practical approach, helping trustees to understand the ‘why’ behind their responsibilities and make decisions that support effective governance and the long-term sustainability of trust assets.
Melissa joined us in October 2025 and is based in our Liverpool office.
