Matthew is a Partner and Practice Group Head of our litigation and regulatory teams.
An experienced commercial litigator, he advises on shareholder and warranty claims, professional negligence, contractual disputes, defamation and financial services claims and pensions disputes. This includes the execution and defence of search and seizure orders, including acting as the court-appointed supervising solicitor on the execution of such orders.
Matthew acts for a range of organisations and specialises in advising UK-based corporations.
Recognised as a Recommended Lawyer by The Legal 500 2025, Matthew is a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association and Association of Pensions Lawyers.
He is also ranked by Chambers and Partners which describes him as "well-versed in handling litigation matters involving fraud and insurance".
Matthew joined us in 2023 and is based in our Leeds office.
