Hayley is a commercial lawyer who specialises in intellectual property matters.
She is a qualified IP litigator and is an EU Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) Professional Representative.
Hayley assists clients throughout the entire intellectual property process from clearance searches and IPR audits to filing, prosecution, oppositions, watches, infringement and litigation as well as contractual matters.
She has a wealth of experience in providing commercial advice in relation to all types of intellectual property including copyright, design rights, patents, domain names, with particular expertise in trade mark law.
She acts for a wide range of clients from individuals and SMEs to multinationals and also represents these clients at intellectual property offices in both the UK and the EU.
Hayley is classed as a 'Rising Star' in the field of intellectual property by The Legal 500 and IP Stars 2023.
She is part of our technology sector and a member of our Together Action Group.
Hayley has studied and worked in the intellectual property field since 2007, has a Masters of Chemistry with Patent Law, and served as an Intellectual Property Strategist at Shell Global Solutions before joining us.
Her clients include Ascentis, FAUN, James Hall (Spar), Veka, Gas Tag Ltd, Greenberg Traurig LLP, Trividia and Cromwell.
Hayley joined us in 2012 and is based in our Manchester office.
