Zainab is an Associate in our employment, pensions and immigration team.
She has particularly strong expertise in defending complex and varied employment tribunal litigation and a consistent record of achieving success for clients in those cases. She also handles advisory and non-contentious employment matters, including helping clients manage their employee change programmes involving the TUPE regulations and large restructures and redundancies.
A skilled workplace investigator, Zainab has carried out investigations on behalf of clients when they’re at capacity or don’t have the bandwidth to do this themselves.
She's a member of our recruitment and workforce planning and leisure and hospitality sector groups and enjoys acting as an extension of her clients' teams — understanding their goals and how their businesses work by offering pragmatic and commercial advice.
Zainab studied Law at the London School of Economics before training with Brabners in 2020. After exploring other firms, she returned to Brabners in 2024 — which she described as “like coming home”.
