Luke is a Partner in our real estate group.
He works with developers, investors, landowners and occupiers to deliver complex commercial real estate transactions and major development projects, including high-value and complex regeneration, retail, logistics, student accommodation and mixed-use transactions.
Experienced in managing transactions that involve multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and complex investment and development considerations, Luke gives clients clear advice to support confident decision-making and protect commercial objectives.
He’s known for combining technical expertise with commercial judgement to identify risks early, resolve issues efficiently and keep projects moving from initial strategy through to completion.
Luke’s recent regeneration work includes advising Davos Property Developments on its acquisition and planned development at Kings, the waterfront skyscraper regeneration scheme in Liverpool. He also advised Peel Ports Group on its disposal and proposed redevelopment of Liverpool Cruise Terminal.
For many years, Luke has led our work with Home Bargains, including advising on its expanding portfolio of 600+ stores, investments and development schemes.
Luke leads projects using a coordinated, multidisciplinary approach. He works closely with colleagues across our corporate, finance and construction teams to help clients address any legal, commercial and practical issues. By understanding each client’s wider objectives, anticipating challenges and managing risk throughout each project, he helps to navigate complexity, maintain momentum and achieve successful outcomes.
Luke features on the Law Society’s Pro Bono Recognition List 2026, which acknowledges lawyers who’ve completed over 25 hours of pro bono work in a 12-month period.
Luke joined Brabners in 2011 as a trainee and qualified in 2013. He is based in our Liverpool office.
