Eleanor is a Partner in our Construction team.
She is an experienced construction lawyer who has a strong background in non-contentious construction law and has practised for over a decade.
She handles issues such as drafting development and security documentation, creating and amending contracts along with warranties, assignments and novations.
She acts for funders, developers, housing associations, local authorities, contractors, tenants and educational institutions.
She also advises retail tenants on construction security and related property issues concerned with acquisitions and disposals.
Eleanor has successfully dealt with projects involving diverse assets from mixed-use multi-storey towers and residential/commercial developments, to infrastructure works and education facilities.
She is actively involved with the Forum for the Built Environment (FBe) networking organisation and currently serves as the committee member responsible for the marketing and communications of the Liverpool branch.
She is classed as a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ by The Legal 500 which describes her as “very approachable and knowledgeable” and that she has “a good handle on the requirements of the client”.
Eleanor’s clients include Arnold Clark Automobiles Ltd, Pavers Shoes, Primark and TJ Morris Ltd.
Eleanor joined us in 2016 and is based in our Liverpool office.
