Eleanor Buxton

Eleanor is a Legal Director in our real estate development team.

She has advised on major regeneration and development projects since 2008 and leads multi‑disciplinary teams on large, complex schemes involving public and private sector partners. Her work includes development and option agreements — including forward‑funded projects — alongside acquisitions, disposals, property management and refinancing.

Eleanor works with developers, local authorities, public bodies and funders and has overseen several regionally significant regeneration schemes, including a 25‑hectare mixed‑use city centre project supported by £43m of grant funding and a long‑term development delivering 2,500 new homes and major public realm improvements.

She has specialist experience across build‑to‑rent, student accommodation, retail and leisure.

Before joining us in February 2026, she spent her career at two large international law firms and gained experience in distressed property during a secondment to a national bank. She’s also a member of Women in Property.

Eleanor is based in our Leeds office.
