Angela Donovan

Angela is a Legal Director in our construction team.

Having specialised in a wide range of commercial and construction disputes since 2015, Angela has supported a variety of clients including local authorities, NHS bodies, police forces, commercial organisations, directors, shareholders and high-net-worth individuals. 

Her work includes PFI and PPP project disputes relating to schools, hospitals, police stations, road infrastructure and highways, as well as construction disputes under JCT, NEC and bespoke contracts. She has also defended public procurement challenges and has experience in contractual disputes, misrepresentation, warranty and indemnity claims, partnership disputes, sale of goods and supply of services, professional negligence, unjust enrichment, tortious disputes and recoveries and enforcement.

Angela deals with cases that proceed in the High Court of Justice Technology and Construction Court/Business and Property Courts, including injunctive applications. 

She’s also experienced in handling Adjudications and alternative dispute resolution including negotiation/without prejudice communications and meetings, as well as mediation. 

Angela joined us in February 2026 and is based in our Leeds office.
