Regulation

We reduce the strain that dealing with pensions regulators and adjudicators puts on schemes and employers.

Pension schemes are now required to file annual reports with the Pensions Regulator which has broad powers of oversight and can intervene, replace trustees, levy fines and impose penalties on schemes. The Pensions Protection Fund (PPF) also has the power to charge annual levies on final-salary pension schemes.

In this environment, it’s easy to fall foul of pensions regulation and face costly consequences.

We are here to reduce the strain that dealing with pensions regulators and adjudicators puts on schemes and employers.

Our Pensions team is one of the largest in the North West and includes lawyers who have a successful track record in dealing with pensions regulators.

We can advise on and handle claims before the Pension Ombudsman (the pensions equivalent of employment tribunals) and other adjudicators for both claimants and respondents and we regularly act for individuals and the trustees of pension schemes as well as employers.
