Tom is a Solicitor in our litigation team.
He specialises in commercial litigation, reputation management and international arbitration. Tom advises on a broad range of contentious matters including breach of contract and warranty claims, company and shareholder disputes and tortious claims like professional negligence.
His practice also covers defamation, harassment and privacy issues with experience in high-profile phone hacking claims against major UK newspaper groups. In addition, Tom has acted in high-value international arbitration, including a dispute before the ICC involving one of the world’s largest hotel chains with claims and counterclaims valued at over $20m.
He works with a wide range of clients from large corporates to high-net-worth individuals across diverse business and commercial sectors.
Tom’s route into law began with an undergraduate and master’s degree in History from the University of Edinburgh. He spent a year travelling in South America before completing a law conversion at Liverpool John Moores University where he achieved a Distinction in his Master of Laws (LLM).
Tom brings a clear, practical approach to complex disputes and is valued for his ability to navigate both domestic and international matters with precision.
He joined us in November 2021 as a Paralegal before qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2025.
