Rory is a Paralegal in our litigation team.

Prior to joining us in September 2025, Rory studied for the Bar Practice Course at The Inns of Court College of Advocacy, finishing with a Distinction and ranking top of his cohort for cross-examination.

He graduated from Durham University in 2021 with a first-class degree in History. He then undertook a Master’s in Law from the University of Law, achieving a Distinction. While studying, Rory was awarded Manchester Young Legal Apprentice 2023.

Rory then worked as a Legal Researcher in an Australian criminal defence firm which furthered his ability for research and provided him with a cross-jurisdictional understanding of the law.

He has a keen interest in all forms of business and property law as well as media and entertainment law, with his Master’s dissertation focusing on the intersection between Article 8 and 10 rights.

Passionate about diversity and inclusion in the legal sector, Rory served as president of the LGBTQ+ society at Manchester University of Law and founded a mentorship scheme for young LGBTQ+ lawyers to connect with legal professionals. In recognition of his work, he was shortlisted by legal charity GROW for Diversity Advocate of the Year 2023. He has also been an Ambassador for the Holocaust Educational Trust and International Women’s Day.

A passionate cyclist, Rory cycled the length of New Zealand in 2024 (3,000km) to raise £3,000 for Parkinson’s UK. In summer 2025, Rory also cycled the length of France (1,500km).
