Laura Cordingley

Laura is our Chief Operating Officer.

Laura holds broad responsibility for ensuring that our firm is organised and operates in a way that supports and accelerates our plans for the future and delivers the Brabners strategy. She holds overall responsibility for all aspects of our people strategy, which is aimed at ensuring we attract, retain, develop and reward our people in a way that is aligned with our plans for the future.

In this role, Laura oversees our People and Development, Learning and Development, Office Management, Office Services, Shared Services and Central Business Support Teams, ensuring these teams deliver for the business, so we can deliver for our clients and communities, while ensuring that our values, culture and people remain at the heart of everything we do.

She sits alongside the firm's Operational Directors to support the management board and wider partnership in managing the firm's HR and operational support activities.

Laura is a passionate and commercial HR professional with a broad generalist background including OD, talent and partnering at C Suite level, with proven experience of evolving the HR function into one truly able to partner the business.

She is driven by creating a people agenda and function that are seen to add true value to the business, enabling the performance of the business and our people with a clear and engaging people strategy aligned to that of the wider business.

Laura has over ten years’ experience in HR, across a variety of sectors, and has held several senior HR leadership positions including at Princes Foods, Trinity Mirror and RSM. She most recently held several senior HR leadership positions at PZ Cussons, before joining as our Chief Operating Officer in 2022.
