Jennifer Baxter is a Trainee Solicitor in our employment, pensions and immigration team.
Jennifer is completing a department-sponsored training contract in our pensions team. She advises trustees of pension schemes, employers and housing associations with pension matters including buy-outs and buy-ins, pension scheme rectifications, scheme closures and Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) exits.
Jennifer graduated from the University of Huddersfield in 2011 with a Master’s in Law and Practice. She has considerable experience in both pensions administration and pensions law. Before joining Brabners in 2020 as a Pensions Advisor, Jennifer delivered pensions administration in the private sector and at a large LGPS — monitoring compliance, member’s pension tax positions via Lifetime and Annual Allowance calculations as well as supporting internal dispute resolution procedures.
She is a member of the Association of Pensions Lawyers and the Manchester Trainee Solicitors Group.
Jennifer is based in our Manchester office and is set to qualify in 2024.
