Helen is an Associate in our Property team.
Helen is a property lawyer who specialises in advising agricultural and landed estate clients.
She handles a wide range of estate management issues such as acquisitions and disposals, complex title issues, as well as rights and liabilities which affect rural land.
She has a longstanding history of acting for prominent estate holders across the North of England.
She also advises on Compulsory Purchase procedure, Agricultural Holdings Act Tenancies, Farm Business Tenancies and the restructuring of property ownership for family and tax reasons.
Helen has a solid background in non-contentious property work and has played an integral role in numerous complex, high value acquisitions and disposals.
She is classed as a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ by The Legal 500 which notes Helen is “always able to provide a range of solutions to the various problems that arise on an agricultural estate” and has “a wealth of knowledge and experience” that she draws on to help people “in a user-friendly way”.
Helen joined us in 1996 and is based in our Lancashire office.
