Alistair is a Consultant in our Housing and Regeneration sector team.
He handles a broad range of issues including governance, charity law, group structures, funding, developments and major regeneration projects.
Alistair has worked on many major commissions including conversions to charitable status, stock transfers, retirement villages, green energy initiatives and multi-tenure new build and refurbishment schemes.
He is a thought leader and often speaks on the changing landscape of the housing sector and the implications of this for registered providers. He was also a co-editor of ‘Thinking Allowed’, a booklet on emerging issues in the sector, published by Brabners in conjunction with the National Housing Federation in 2012.
Alistair is a former President of the Liverpool Law Society and is classed as a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ and a ‘Leading Individual’ by The Legal 500 which describes him as a "brilliant" solicitor.
His clients include Torus62, Riverside, Onward, Regenda, Your Housing and ForViva.
Alistair joined us in 2009 from housing specialists Bremners.
