Our support services play a vital role in working alongside our fee earning teams to deliver our strategic ambitions and, crucially, the ambitions of our clients.

There are two key groups of colleagues within support services – central services and fee earner support – and both are the driving force behind our colleague and client experience.

Central Services

Our central services colleagues are experts in their fields and bring a different perspective to our core legal business activities. Their combined expertise covers finance, information technology, marketing and business development, people and development as well as risk and compliance.

Some come from the legal sector and some from other industries, bringing with them a wealth of experience and challenging our thinking every day. Legal expertise alone is no guarantee of business success and we regularly access the specialist expertise of our central services colleagues to deliver on our ambition to be the UK’s leading independent law firm.

We treat our central services colleagues as partners and valued consultants, involving them in business decisions in a collaborative spirit that drives learning and innovation.

Fee Earner Support

We would be lost without our fee earner support colleagues who provide first-class secretarial, administrative and front of house support. Whether it’s booking meetings, answering client calls or managing diaries, these amazing people just get things done.

Our fee earner support colleagues keep us moving at pace, make things happen and don’t get phased by challenges or surprises.
