As the UK’s leading independent law firm, we are committed to making the difference for our clients, our people and the communities we serve, by continuously investing in the future of our business.
It is with this in mind that we are delighted to announce our launch into the Leeds market, to be followed by the opening of our fourth office at a landmark city centre location in Leeds this summer.
This move is a major milestone in our firm’s development, as part of our strategic growth plan, following five years of consecutive growth that has seen our business grow by over 30% since 2017, and our launch is a precursor to building a full-service team based in Yorkshire.
With the office opening planned in a few months’ time, we are delighted to immediately welcome Marcus Armstrong, a prominent corporate law specialist, to the Brabners team, to be followed swiftly by other partner and team hires across a range of disciplines in the coming weeks.
The office opening itself will represent our third major real estate investment in the past 12 months, after recently relocating our Lancashire office to Walton Summit, and as we open our new 20,000 sq. ft. office at Manchester’s Barbirolli Square, also this summer.
But what does this mean for the future?
For some time, it has been our ambition to deliver an important step-change for the business, consistent with our desire to continually bolster the support we can provide to our diverse base of regional and national clients.
We look forward to fostering new relationships with the many innovative and high-profile businesses that have established themselves in Leeds, and also to playing our part as an integral member of the business community in Yorkshire in the years to come – always doing what we can to support the growth of its economy. An approach that is consistent with our purpose, to demonstrate “that business can bring about positive change”, being part of the solution to building an innovative, diverse and sustainable future.
Entering the Leeds market is a perfect next step. It is one of the UK’s largest and fastest growing legal markets; complements our existing locations in Liverpool, Manchester and Lancashire; strengthens our presence in the North; and broadens our access to talent and support for teams in our existing office locations. It also provides more opportunity for our people to grow, and achieve their ambitions, helped by our now well-embedded approach to agile working.
I hope you will join us in celebrating our important milestone, as we remain committed to being a partner in action for the road ahead: for our clients, our people and the communities we serve.
