Laura Earps

Laura is a Solicitor in our litigation team.

She undertakes a broad range of contentious work, including breach of contract claims and defamation as well as company, shareholder and partnership disputes.

As part of our sports sector team, Laura represents many clubs, players, national governing bodies and agencies, including those in the football sector.

Her experience in dealing with high-profile, high-value cases has led to her acting for Michael Vaughan in relation to the charges brought against him by the England and Wales Cricket Board regarding Yorkshire County Cricket Club & Others, as well as the Commonwealth Games Federation regarding the cancellation of the Commonwealth Games 2026.

Laura also undertakes a variety of medical negligence work — acting for both claimants and defendants — including injuries resulting from birth trauma, surgical negligence and cosmetic surgery claims, as well as consumer protection work, where she acts for large cosmetics companies and healthcare providers.

Laura has previously worked with our corporate, regulatory, property and construction and housing and regeneration teams.

She is a member of our charity committee and sits on our colleague engagement board.

Laura joined us in 2021 and qualified in 2023. She is based in our Liverpool office.
