We are the third best law firm to work for according to Best Companies

Tuesday 25 May 2021

We were rated as the third best law firm to work for in the UK by workplace engagement specialists Best Companies during their live event on 21 May. The online ceremony, hosted by the broadcaster Dan Walker, celebrated the businesses which lead the way in employee engagement, including household names such as Brewdog, Camelot and Toyota (GB).

We were also placed 34th in the ‘North West’s Best Companies to Work For’ category, an improvement of 28 places from last year’s result, and 47th in ‘The UK’s 100 Best Large Companies to Work For’, another improvement on last year as we climbed an impressive 23 places.

These results, which are based partly on colleague feedback, demonstrate our ongoing commitment to our people and culture. We were up against major national organisations and the results highlight the progress we have made towards becoming an employer of choice.

Nik White, our Managing Partner, said: ‘I’m delighted that the work we are doing to create a great colleague experience has been recognised at a national level.

“We have asked a lot of our people as we adapted to new ways of working during the pandemic. I’m grateful to them for how they responded to the challenge and delighted that their feedback has enabled our firm to receive this incredible recognition.

“While the Best Companies rankings are hugely reassuring for our leadership team because they confirm we are taking our business in the right direction, they are primarily testament to the hard work, commitment and resilience of our people.”

We have previously received a three-star rating from Best Companies, the highest standard awarded. Best Companies has over 20 years’ experience in helping organisations measure and improve employee engagement using a robust methodology, with their accreditation standard certifying excellence in the workplace since 2006.
