Barry is a Partner and leads our Construction team.
Barry is an experienced construction and engineering solicitor, as well as a dual-qualified Chartered Surveyor.
He handles non-contentious issues and advises on the resolution of disputes across the full range of construction and engineering projects from civil engineering infrastructure projects such as bridges, power stations, petrochemical plants, utilities works and frameworks, roads and railways through to building projects for housebuilders, retailers, manufacturers and businesses.
He acts for contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, developers and employers.
Barry has advised on major projects including Hinkley Point C and also the new Mersey Gateway Bridge, two of the largest infrastructure programmes in the UK.
He is classed as a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ by The Legal 500 which describes him as being “very experienced” and he also presents seminars on various aspects of construction law.
Barry’s clients include John Graham Construction Ltd, Interserve Engineering Services Ltd, V.H.E. Construction Plc and ConstruGomes.
Barry joined us in 2013 and is based in our Liverpool office.
