The latest SME 300, which appears in the November 2017 edition of the North West Business Insider magazine, is led by Brabners with a turnover of £29.6m and a pre-tax profit of £9.6m. The firm can trace its roots back to 1772 although the Brabners name was not used until 1815.

On 15 October 2017 a team of seven runners from Brabners: Ian Mylrea; Lee Jefcott; Steven Appleton; Glyn Lancefield; Adam Jones; Jonathan Khoo; and Joshua Oxley participated in the Manchester Half Marathon Corporate Clash in aid of the firm’s charities

Specialist M&A lead adviser Brabners Corporate Finance has bolstered its Liverpool-based team with new hire Andrew Norman.

Private equity firm Rockpool has invested £5m into workwear manufacturer Wearwell UK in a deal advised on by Brabners Corporate Finance.

The buy-in-management-buy-out (BIMBO) sees Richard Wright, former vice president of international workwear supplier Kwintet, join the Staffordshire-based business as its new chief executive.

London-based Rockpool operate across a range of sectors including fashion, technology and utilities.

The award follows a rigorous independent assessment by IIC, the customer experience agency, where the business was benchmarked across four key areas. This includes understanding and meeting clients’ needs, delighting clients and creating loyalty.

Senior Associate and Head of Corporate in Preston, Nicola Whittle is amongst one of the finalists at this year’s Enterprise Vision Awards. Nicola was kindly nominated by one of her clients who suggested Brabners should feature in the best Professional Services category.
