He also advises sporting organisations on event organisation, sponsorship, broadcasting, publishing, merchandising, licensing, athlete/celebrity representation and endorsement, brand exploitation and protection, constitutional and disciplinary matters.

About Jason

Jason has broad experience in a wide range of commercial matters. He has particularly extensive sports law experience including advising international federations, national governing bodies, clubs, event and tour organisers (and marketing agencies) on the protection, structuring and exploitation of the rights relating to their brand marketing programmes including through sponsorship, broadcasting, the Internet, new media and licensed merchandise. He specialises in advising federations, governing bodies and individuals on constitutional and disciplinary issues, including anti-doping.

He also has a particular expertise advising sponsors on all aspects of their sponsorship programmes, including, in particular, the acquisition of sponsor’s rights from rights holders. In total he has led teams advising on over £2bn worth of deals.
