Ian’s expertise

Ian specialises in advising the social housing sector and other clients on housing management, property and commercial disputes and litigation, landlord and tenant (in particular, residential), employment related litigation and judicial review and human rights cases.

About Ian

Ian qualified in 1987 and joined us following the firm’s merger in 2009 with Bremners, where he was head of litigation. He has been involved in a number of high profile cases in the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court including Briscoe v Lubrizol Limited (Court of Appeal 2002) and Riverside Housing Association v White (House of Lords 2007).

Ian is a qualified mediator and a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and the Property Litigation Association.
