Court of Protection

Court of Protection

Sometimes making a Lasting Power of Attorney is not possible as the client does not have sufficient capacity to give instructions.

We can then assist in making a Court of Protection application to have a Deputy appointed to look after property and affairs.

We can offer advice and assistance in making applications to the Court where it is appropriate, on behalf of the incapacitated person, to make a will or tax planning or other gifts and also on applications required to deal with issues where there is an incapacitated trustee.
