Discrimination law is very complex and high (uncapped) levels of compensation and awards for injury to feeling can be made.

The law protects less favourable treatment because of a person’s age, sex, race, disability, sexual orientation, marital / civil partnership status, religion or belief, pregnancy and maternity and gender reassignment.
