Financial Services Claims

Financial Services Claims

Brabners has a specialist team which conducts our financial services litigation matters. The team has significant experience in acting and resolving a variety of disputes and claims of varying value. All matters, irrespective of size, are led or supervised by a partner to ensure a consistency of approach and attention to all of the financial services cases we take on.

We act for some of the UK's major banks, for a wide range of independent financial advisors, accountancy firms and other financial institutions, and also for individuals pursuing financial services claims. We are able to advise our clients across the full spectrum of litigious issues associated with a range of financial products and concerns.

Brabners has undertaken work relating to a wide range of financial services matters including claims in respect of the mis-selling of investments, insurance, pensions, interest rate swaps, payment protection insurance and other financial products.  We are experienced in pursuing claims through the Courts and through the Financial Ombudsman Service and Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

We aim to deal with matters in an efficient and productive manner seeking to find a commercial and pragmatic resolution where possible. We understand the importance of relationships between parties when dealing with financial affairs and aim, where possible, to help preserve and strengthen such relationships.
