In what promises to be an interesting subject in light of the current economic environment, The Recruitment Society is holding an event in Manchester to advise businesses on how to recruit successfully in today's market.

Entitled ‘From Psychology to Technology', the seminar will look at four ways a business can save time and money when recruiting.

Speaking at the event will be:

• Rachael Minnis, Head of Operations - Resourcing, Learning & International from M&S Shared Services - Britain's flagship retailer.

• Simon Jayne, Vice President of Sales, Saville Consulting who will give an insight into the role of psychologists and their value in recruiting key individuals.

• Adam Cairns, Key Account Manager from totaljobs, one of the world's leading job boards.

• Gordon Ash, Senior Executive from Lumesse (formerly Stepstone Solutions), one of the world's leading providers of talent management software - with offices in 28 countries.

It will end with a panel Q&A session and networking.

Hosted by law firm Brabners Chaffe Street, the event takes place on Wednesday 8 October at 55 King Street, Manchester between 5pm and 7pm and is designed to be easy to understand and give practical advice to businesses of all sizes.
