Meet the BBC - promotion of local charities through media

Tuesday 23rd October 2012

Leading law firm Brabners Chaffe Street and BBC Radio Merseyside have joined forces to host a free seminar on how local charities can utilise BBC Radio Merseyside to promote their charitable services and local events, and enhance the Charities's profile in the Merseyside area.

Speaking at the event will be BBC Radio Merseyside's Managing Editor Sue Owen and 'A' Team Manager Jo Krasner.  In addition Colin Bell, an Associate Solicitor in the Intellectual Property/Commercial team at Brabners Chaffe Street, will review the benefits and potential pitfalls of using social media tools for promotion of a charitable brand.

The event will conclude with an open session where delegates will have the opportunity to put questions to the speakers.

The seminar takes place on Monday 29 October at Horton House, Exchange Flags, Liverpool, between 4pm and 6pm and is designed to give practical advice to trustees and board members of charitable organisations.

Spaces for this free event are limited - to register to attend please email:
