Investing to grow: Why creative spaces have a commercial impact

Investing to grow: Why creative spaces have a commercial impact

Thursday 10th November 2016

This year Brabners have been pleased to support the launch of Prolific North’s Inspired Spaces North 2016 which celebrates the most innovative workspaces in the creative and digital sector in the North.

As a sector, creative and digital businesses most often lead the way in investing in their work environment, realising the benefit it can have, not only on productivity and retention but also client acquisition and ultimately the businesses’ long term value.

Technology, inspiration for creative solutions and work-life balance are key factors and the commercial impact should not be underestimated.

Brabners’ Head of commercial, Nik White comments

“The value that investing in work space can add to a business is huge. For example, the potential to attract future/further investment, increased business and collaboration opportunities and attracting and retaining the best talent”

“To prosper, most businesses need to ensure that not only their people and the service they offer, but also the way they do business, reflects their target market. Work space can be a key part of this”

Working with Prolific North, headline partner Capital&Centric and supporters Brabners and Zut Media, Prolific North and Active Profile got together to review all the submissions earlier this year. After an extremely tough process the shortlist has been narrowed down to a showcase of 45 businesses across the North culminating in a celebratory event tonight, 10 November.
