Additional speakers who will participate in a panel session at the North West Housing Conference 2015 have been revealed.

Organisers of the North West Housing Conference 2015, law firm Brabners and accountants Mitchell Charlesworth, have announced the keynote speakers at this year’s event which takes place on Thursday 15 October 2015 at Liverpool’s BT Convention Centre. 

Commercial law firm Brabners has announced the promotion of three Partners, six Senior Associates and four Associates across the firm.

Adrian Rogers (Corporate), Richard Hough (Commercial) and Leanne Murray (Real Estate) have all joined the partnership; Leanne has also been appointed as Head of Residential Development.

Corporate lawyer Adrian Rogers qualified with the firm in 2004 and has extensive experience in MBOs, MBIs, acquisitions, disposals, venture capital, corporate insolvency and corporate reorganisations.

Emmaus Merseyside has received a donation of £3,000 from the organisers of the North West Housing Conference, law firm Brabners and accountants and business advisors, Mitchell Charlesworth.

Leading North West law firm Brabners has been appointed to City West Housing Trust’s legal panel framework.

City West, which owns 14,600 homes in the North West, has appointed a panel of law firms after a competitive tendering exercise. The panel is split into eight advice areas for anti-social behaviour (ASB), contract and procurement, development, employment, governance, land and property, leasehold and tenancy management.  Brabners is one of only two law firms to be appointed on all eight work areas.

North West businesses heard the expert views of two leading economists at the annual North West Housing Conference.

Well-known housing academic and economist Professor Duncan Maclennan gave his views on the increasing need to cater for an ageing demographic when he addressed the region’s social housing community at the event.

North West businesses will have the opportunity to hear the expert views of some of the leading figures from the housing sector on the wide-ranging changes being faced by social housing providers when the annual North West Housing Conference returns to Liverpool next month.
