The Association of Labour Providers and Brabners Chaffe Street host specialist employment tribunal workshops

The Association of Labour Providers and Brabners Chaffe Street host specialist employment tribunal workshops

Friday 21st September 2012

The Association of Labour Providers (ALP) and leading law firm Brabners Chaffe Street have joined forces to hostspecialist workshops on “Preventing and Preparing for Employment Tribunals”.

Designed for HR and operational managers, the workshops have been developed to help delegates prevent cases reaching employment tribunal, prepare and present a case successfully, and adopt the correct strategy to limit the costs and protect reputation.

They are presented by Brabners Chaffe Street Partner Paul Chamberlain, a nationally recognised expert in the law relating to employment businesses.  He says: “As employment law becomes more complex, and workers more willing to bring claims, employers and labour providers are increasingly likely to face employment tribunal claims.  The workshops will offer detailed advice on how to protect a business from the cost and reputational damage of employment tribunals.”

David Camp, ALP Director comments: “The ALP and Brabners Chaffe Street have worked together on a number of highly regarded and well received workshops which have raised knowledge and standards.  This workshop will help employers and employment businesses to both reduce and effectively manage tribunal claims.”

The full day workshops will take place between 9.30am and 4pm on the following dates:

  • 1 November 2012 in Manchester at Co-operative Food Miller Street, M60 0AL
  • 22 November 2012 in London at Marks and Spencer, Waterside House, 35 North Wharf Road, W2 1NW
