Leading lawyers from across Manchester gathered together for the ninth annual Manchester Legal Awards. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is new legislation which will come into force in the UK on 25 May 2018, and will replace the UK’s current data protection regime in its entirety. The GDPR will implement a comprehensive new data protection regime in the UK which governs how ‘personal data’ must be handled and stored by ‘data controllers’ and ‘data processors’ (along with new, more substantial penalties for non-compliance in respect thereof).

Commercial legal practice Brabners has been appointed to the legal panel of one of the UK’s largest housing associations in a three-year deal.
